  • I don t know if I just happened to be in the right mood for this one or what, but I NEVER like rhyming picture books and yet I LOVED this one It was so fun to read I giggled as I read it aloud whereas I usually have to tap all my perky reserves just to get through the dorky rhymes that listening children gobble up so happily It is a cute silly story that rolls off the tongue, and the sweet wacky illustrations complement the text perfectly You can even use thte book as a math aid if so inclined T [...]

  • This is a rollicking, bouncy tale of a large family with many different pets The illustrations are hilarious and the narrative describes how difficult life can be with ninety three in the family We enjoyed the story and had fun adding up the various members of the family, practicing our math skills too.

  • This story is about a child who gets asked how many are in his family When asked this question he has a look of confusion on his face because he feels there are so many in his family Very nice book.

  • I read this in class for our family theme The kids enjoyed the silliness of the book They noticed the repetition, not so much the rhyming although I enjoyed that The last page breaks down the count for family members It was a nice lead in to talking about their own families and pets.

  • This is a funny book that has terrific illustrations by Mike Lester It can be read by people of all ages.

  • This book could serve a number of different uses in the classroom It would be nice for discussing family structures and when introducing a rhyming repition unit.
