  • I don t get the ending if there was one The story starts off fine and I thought I d landed myself an erotic suspense with my fav character types cops Since I do not like paranormals as a rule, I was not pleased when the paranormal stuff started and cluttered up what was pretty good serial killer story up to then.I didn t mind Richie s psychic gift it was the addition of those spirit entities that appeared halfway through or earlier, whatever and never dealt with There was no explanation of how t [...]

  • 2050 begins with the potential of being a good, suspenseful book, but tapers off pretty quickly I didn t like how the authors teased with Julian s former lover then just stopped mentioning him there seemed to be no resolution in that That seemed to be the norm for the authors in this book stilted in plot and be trying to jam everything in, without really reconciling anything Too many things were thrown into the mix and Julian s motivation s towards Richie were muddled Then the book just ended, a [...]

  • 2.5 starsA psychic and a police detective meet on a serial killer case The story starts off really interesting but falls apart in the second half The resolution of the killer was a let down and then replaced with a new paranormal problem that didn t make much sense The protags are nice and once they admit their feelings it s all lovey dovey with lots of sex and a few emotional tears Nice story that unfortunately didn t live up to it s promise.

  • Just could not get into this book I ve kept in my to read folder with the intention to go back and start again However, there are just too many other voices on my To Read shelf clamoring for attention and I doubt I will go back and revisit this story.

  • OMG what an boring book that was Both main character Julian Anders Richie England are very unattractive as a couple and I was just scrolling true the book.

  • Started off pretty good though it should be kept in mind that I am rather forgiving for stories involving cops and psychics falling in love while hunting serial killers Then the closer to the end of the book we got the it felt like things were being jammed in perhaps if some of the overabundance of sex scenes had been trimmed out there might have been room for explanation of actual story points, but what do I know as fast as they could before the authors ran out of time space I didn t mind whe [...]

  • i gave this book 3 stars for about the first half of the story and 1 star for the rest when the shadow things appear, also the bit when they are leaving the crypt if you ahve already read the book then you know which part i mean confused me when richie says he will follow julien in his car, but there were several previous mentions that richie doesnt drive for me the second half of the book dive bombed compared to the first half of the story which i wish could have been longer
