  • The story of a buoy that was loved by a boy named Tim When Lucky gets separated from Tim, the readers follow the travels of the buoy The travels are told without words in an illustrated cartoon like style yet with lovely muted colors The kindness of strangers comes through nicely in this story There are enough words for it to be a great read aloud and with enough pictures for children feel engaged I enjoyed this book and could imagine a wonderful story time program using this story.

  • My 1st grade students and I loved the way this book moved from a story told through text and pictures, to just pictures, and then back to text and illustration at the end.
