    About " G. Akella Mark Berelekhis "

  • G. Akella Mark Berelekhis

Georgy Smorodinsky.44 years old, live in Moscow, married with three daughters Akella has been my game nickname for almost 17 years My love affair with the MMORPG genre began with Ultima Online, and I played WoW from its release date My main classes are Warrior, Rogue and Death Knight Back in vanilla WoW I made Grand Marshall with my warrior, for those who still remember what that is Throughout WoW s existence I was present for the slaying of roughly 70 80% of raid bosses in those encounters, I was the main tank about half the time In vanilla, I was the guild master of Shadow Angels on the Executus server The guild had approximately 250 members, with an average of 80 people online every day Sometimes I led raids to MC and BWL for those who remember, in vanilla raid groups maxed out at 40 I also spent some time playing Star Wars The Old Republic Presently I m playing Black Desert.Patch 17 is my first book I had never written anything before it I was inspired to start writing after reading D Rus, A Vasilev, R Mikhaylov and V Mahanenko I wanted to create a world that lived by the game s rules, to write a book that even gamers would enjoy reading The same gamers who killed skeletons at the Vesper graveyard, stormed castles in Lineage 2, battled in Alterac Valley, and spent months chipping away at Nefarian and the Lich King.Of utmost importance to me are the logic of the game world, the immersion factor for readers to feel as if they re part of this world , and logical behavior of the book s characters So far so good, it would seem Five of the books in the series are finished Book three is in the process of being published The first two books have sold out their initial print run, and are being printed The reviews from critics and fan feedback grow better with each new book I sincerely hope that you will get to read book two of the series, The Cursed Princedom, in February.Oh, and one day I dream of visiting San Francisco, the city where Patch 17 begins Thank you, everyone, and happy reading.Georgy Smorodinsky Akella

  • This whole book was written so we can get to the last half of the last chapter.Anything and everything in between doesn t matter, even Roman says so a few times in a weird sort of 4th wall foreshadowing.I m really considering dropping the series at this point, which is truly sad because it could ve gone so much better if instead of a straight translation, the novels would have gone through an adaptation Much than the other Russian original series in this genre, I started really well and it was [...]

  • Great Finally the teams all together no splitting up the books, i hope Anyway this was just as good as the previous book, through there was a few abrupt cut scenes, in your other books you usual leave a little marker when you close that scene to start a new one, if you weren t starting a new chapter Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

  • A promising series gone to shit. This whole book can be summarized into one word a rant.Roman himself goes into these pointless rants about Earth or his friends and family, which give nothing to the storyline just expand the word count I started to skip over these rants, and seem to read this book in about 2 hours After some of these skips i couldn t even catch up to what was happening characters change, locations change, but in the end nothings matters.Roman keeps plot no jutsing through all his [...]

  • Too short for the costThe book was good, but i am tired of paying 6 bucks for less than 300 pages, and i am done doing so The first few books were worth the cost, unfortunately the last two are not.

  • This series and Rus s one are still my favorite LitRPG stories This last one I enjoyed Felt the typical pull victory from some weird twist was missing but a solid fun book Definitely waiting on next translation.

  • Never disappointsThis whole series has been a thrill ride i hope to never get off of The characters feel so real, the twists and turn are just insane I wish they were longer as I cannot wait for the next book

  • Cant wait for the next book Love this series and can wait for the next book to be released Every time I find their new title in the store I immediately download it and start reading.

  • Well written as usualThis feels like a middle book to bring some threads together and in the end they are The translator has finally reduced the use of ostentatious, a word that were getting a little bit to noticeable in earlier books Hang in there til the end.

  • Finally a reunionRoman goes through trials on his quest to get to the upper plane And at long last, the reunion we ve been waiting for happens.

  • Great seriesGood continuation of a fantastic series Further development of the MC and his NPC s Please translate book 7 soon Well worth Reading ng

  • Good seriesWhile the game mechanics of the story has lessened somewhat and the author goes off on many tangents the story is good and the action is sound Another win for g akella
