  • Oops I tripped and fell into a MPREG series MPREG is not my gig and I do wish this had come with a tag but since it didn t I m endeavoring to maintain some neutrality I did enjoy this installment of the series mostly because these two remind me a WHOLE LOT of another couple of wingnuts near and dear to my heart Gideon and Eva These two are not as coocoo for each other as Gideon and Eva but it s hard to top those two I also enjoyed the mythological aspects and the battling A good sword fight is a [...]

  • 5 HeartsReview written for MM Good Book Reviewsmmgoodbookreviews.wordpress This book is part of a series and must be read in order Tristan is left reeling with questions after the confrontation with the Goddess Ki, discovering secrets and lies from his brother and unable to trust any of the council Now he has to focus on protecting his consort, Ushna, and his tribe and to learn who he can trust, he also has to learn what he can about just who is out to assassinate him and how to harness his new [...]

  • As you will know if you ve read my review of Twin Flames, the first book in this series, I couldn t wait for this sequel to be published And now that it has I am very happy to say I loved it just as much as the first book While still firmly founding this world in Sumerian legends, Lexi Ander adds of the Lycan lore and a few new elements, seamlessly weaving them into the story of Tristan and Ushna Not only do these characters come even alive, the twists and turns their story takes are amazing a [...]

  • OMG when is the next one out I loved this book, and the first one, what a fantastic story I was drawn in from the beginning, well written, great characters and excellent story line, I have read three Lexi Ander books in the last 2 days and I want .

  • Storyline is solid Smexy off the chain Though Tristan, was slightly annoying and Ushna, remained possessive lovable This made for a over all enjoyable read.

  • I m not sure if I should be kicking myself that I never bothered to read this series before, or if I should be glad that I waited till these new editions came out for me to enjoy them.Mostly, I m just sad that I ll have to wait, again, to see what happens to Tristan and Ushna Damn evil cliffhangers This book picks up right where the last one left off Tristan is having a little chat with a goddess on the side of a river and there are griffins , and everyone is pretty much just waiting for the wor [...]

  • Right now I hate three people, Theo Sullivan who was Tristan s Bashert but never consummated the bond between them Theo was a liar, cheater and not a good alpha, he took all the profits that Tristan had invented to help his people.Daniel Sullivan is an evil person that is a false Bashert and thus had the title of alpha mate, even Theo s children do not trust him.So finally there is one from the old council member that I hate, and Theo has also been in bed with him Many people have no respect for [...]

  • Book 5 On Favourites of 2012 at On Top Down Under Book ReviewsbookreviewsandtherapyWhat can I say If I could give than 5 stars then I certainly would be giving them to Songs of the Earth Book one Twin Flames was so good Book 2, Songs of the Earth, surpasses that This is a wonderful shifter book with terrific world building, a well paced plot, action, intrigue, engaging, endearing MC s, with well drawn secondary characters as well And the sex.I haven t recovered yet the desk, the cleansing cerem [...]

  • I really enjoyed reading book 1, Twin Flames, and I loved reading this one The story was a bit longer than the first book which was good as I did not want the story to end which it hasn t, the series is going to be 6 books I laughed, cried and was sitting on the edge of my couch while reading, some parts I re read they were so good The characters are very well rounded and it is very easy to love the good ones and hate the baddies I highly recommend this author and series, my only complaint is th [...]

  • It s a good story with likable characters There is a lot going on and a lot is left open While that s okay, I do hope the author is not going to loose track of everything What took a lot away for me was the mpreg I loathe it If you want pregnant characters write M F not M M That is just my opinion.

  • Partly comment as I go As I ETA d in my bk 1 review, I m really unsure about the whole Theo business I mean, he seemed genuinely contrite and it seems as if Tristan didn t give him a chance before dramatically deciding to break off.So I was than a little pissed when he explained Theo as such A little than seven years ago, I had broken the bond between Theo Sullivan and myself His lack of regard for me, coupled with his deception and lies, poisoned and almost killed me The council had warned me [...]

  • 3.4 StarsAgain, a huge info dump installment Seems like half the book was taken up explaining everything was probably closer to 1 3, but still It does remain an interesting take on shifter mythology and I think I m starting to recognize the Sumerian gods goddesses which saves me a lot of time by not having to repeatedly flip back to the index. The sex is way hot, the action drama unexpectedly engaging and I can t wait to see how the line of succession issue finally resolves But the characters sti [...]

  • Songs of the Earth by Lexi AnderSumerias Sons, Book 25 StarsReviewed for heartsonfirereviewsSongs of the Earth is the sequel to Twin Flames and should be read in order Songs of the Earth picks up exactly where book one left off and the excitement never wanes I could not put this book down and gobbled it up like a kid with an unattended cookie jar There is nonstop action and intrigue Secrets are revealed, there are betrayals of trust and threats to Tristan and Ushna, the man he loves above all el [...]

  • WTF did I just read Okay, I usually have problems with jumping in in the middle of a series, or like now, the second book by mistake But I got a grip of the background story, and didn t feel like I missed something But some of the plot points made me go WTF and others made me want to throw my e reader in the wall This was a mess of a book Not my cup of tea.

  • Very rarely i ll give 5 stars a series, i m really in love with this one Heaven knows am practicing patience waiting on the next book.

  • 4.5 Stars another fast paced instalment of the series So much is happening and so much information is given, it s hard to breathe The end came much too soon However I loved the story, the characters and the rich detail There are many players to keep track of and I appreciated the glossary at the end that outlines the major gods and goddesses mentioned.

  • Summary of the book for those with as bad a memory as mine view spoiler The book starts off where the first one left off Tristan met Goddess Ki at the river where she tells him that she wasn t able to find him when all of the king s line are meant to be thought the ways to be a king She talks about Mithra who appears to be missing ever since the king Bahram Majeed Ksathra ruled I think We later find out in a harsh way that Tristan was bound by magic which kept him hidden from everyone, even the [...]

  • Re Read Jan 2018Still holds up I ve started the re read since all of the books are now outGreat continuation This is a great continuation from the previous book Some questions were answered well.I love this authors take on the shifter world Everyone has one twin flame mate who is reincarnated throughout time I love the fact that both Tristan and Ushna have met their twin flames and both are now without them, Ushna to the death of his flame in childhood and Tristan from having his bond broken I l [...]

  • I received this book as an ARC through the publisher in exchange for an honest review.I m enjoying this series The mythology is fun, and I even liked the way MPreg worked in this story It makes sense with the culture, and the characters at least that s what I m telling myself Sure, it can be a bit silly over the top, but in a fun way It was a perfect read when I wasn t feeling great, and I didn t want anything to deep or too serious I liked that it was about than love, but about their connectio [...]

  • Another great installment in the series Great myths which are well explained but which do lend a very complicated structure The balance is good and I really loved the rougher base sex between the guys It really fit in well with what was happening and was in no way too much Intricate and complex which means it is a little bit of work to read to keep things straight Cannot wait for the next one

  • I enjoyed book one of this series and wondered if the author could continue the storyline without losing my interest Not only did she do so, she made me an avid addict of Tristan and Ushna and I went on to read book 3 immediately so as to get my fix

  • This was nice and interesting I loved the first book WAY better though This book did progress a little too fast some places but I liked it The fast bits didn t take away from my enjoyment I m so excited about the birth I can t wait to read the third book.

  • Oh my, what a follow up I loved continuing the story from the admittedly cliff hanger ending of Twin Flames Tristan and Ushna their love was so palpable and wonderful to just wallow in I can t wait for book 3 to be re released No really, can t wait, need a time machine.
