    About " Killian McRae "

  • Killian McRae

Killian McRae would tell you that she is a rather boring lass, an authoress whose characters lives are so much exciting than her own She would be right Sadly, this sarcastic lexophile leads a rather mundane existence in the San Francisco Bay Area She once dreamed of being the female Indiana Jones, and to that end she earned a degree in Middle Eastern History from the University of Michigan However, when she learned that real archaeologists spend time lovingly removing dust with toothbrushes from shards of pottery than outrunning intriguing villains with exotic accents, she decided to become a writer instead She writes across many genres, including science fiction, fantasy, romance, and historical fiction.

  • This is a short scene after the end of A Love By Any Measure We get to see how Maeve and August escape from Boston and make their way out West It s quite hot and steamy view spoiler We also get to see their first time together after seeing each other after 3 years and the actual marriage proposal hide spoiler

  • I enjoyed this little outtake from A Love by Any Measure but I am perplexed as to why it wasn t dovetailed into the original story It clearly fits between the end of that story and the epilogue and why it was published separately, especially given that it s only 20 pages, is just odd.

  • Thanks, Killian, for this beautiful scene I ve been missing August, May and Goosie a lot these past few days and this was all I needed Great addiction to the book

  • Loved this What a great addition to the first story, A Love By Any measure It gave the readers what they hoped for after reading the novel Thank you killian

  • Just love that we got another glimpse of August and Maeve Picked up at the right place, showed a beautiful transition from the heartbreak to the heart heal Loved it

  • I did something a bit odd I know this is a short follow up vignette to the novel, A Love By Any Measure I haven t read that yet though I do own it I was in a tire kicking mood thinking that if I liked this follow up piece then I might pick up the novel for my next read I really didn t think that one through well because in essence, what I did was take the story and flip to the back page which I don t do Needless to say, this did its job though I admit to spending the whole read wondering about w [...]

  • It seemed strange to write this as a short story, and can only assume that it was perhaps as an afterthought, or to satisfy the curiosity of fans Does anybody know Nothing bad to say about it really, it was over in the blink of any eye.I rated it the same as for Love by Any Measure 360 my last review at 4.5 or 4 star on and Good Reads. There were a couple or errors bug bears, but I didn t make detailed notes on them as I read it on the train.
