    About " J.X. Burros "

  • J.X. Burros

J X Burros is a young, poor self published author, and he loves every minute of it He loves creating characters and placing them in positions he could never face himself along with ones he only wishes he could experience.Besides writing, he loves to read and devours every young adult novel that catches his eye He may give out five stars quite freely, but they are all well deserved His belief is that you should spend your time enjoying books, not scrutinizing them for mistakes. In his limited spare time, he loves to eat, although it clearly doesn t show, he loves to watch videos of kittens doing crazy things, and he loves coffee lots of coffee. He writes, not for money although it fuels his ability to write , but for the joy of creating a story that he would love to read While he s hard at work with the sequel to Scarlet Spotlight, he would love to write a variety of novels one day, with projects in angels, folklore, and chick lit in the works.

  • It was a pretty easy read I would recommend it for a younger crowd tweens and teens but I enjoyed it as a thirty something I will pass it along to my 13 year old and see what she thinks.I received the book for free through First Reads

  • I don t think it s quite fair for me to review the book I wrote, but, all in all, it was a fantastic book.

  • I did want to like this novel, but by the end it turned flat What began as amazingly well created characters turned into characters I no longer recognized in the blink of an eye People Tom were supposed to trust turned into people he had to question and stay away from in the blink of an eye as well There were some parts that I did like and kept me reading to hopefully reach an ending I ended up liking, but in the end the series turned out to be one that I would not care to continue with.
