  • I would give this 3.5 stars.I really enjoyed this book Being from Liverpool myself I found the language and phrasing used by the main character to be on point, particularly for that period of time I liked the nice steady build up in the story and will look forward to reading books by this author.

  • The Beatles subplot is really the least interesting thing about this book, and probably the weakest That said, the story of a spunky Liverpool girl trying to make it as a photographer in London and the semi crooked but good hearted cop she meets there is a pretty damn good one.

  • Loved it Admirable characters in Kate O Donnell and Harry Barnard Good plot and we don t know who dunnit until the end.
